With a focus on heart transplantation

Get ready for an exciting in-person event all about heart transplant and heart regeneration research with the teams from the University of Cambridge and the Royal Papworth Hospital. The event will involve a series of short talks by academics and doctors. They will also have a transplant recipient sharing their story of receiving a heart, and a family member of an organ donor speaking of their experience of going through the organ donation process with their loved one.
They also want to hear what you have to say about this research. They will break into small groups where they encourage people to share their opinions about this work and have the chance to voice what they want done and how they want it done. They are there to listen to you, just as much as they are there to speak to you.
Dinner will be provided and all the speakers and facilitators will be around for further discussions throughout the event.
